You can use the following commands to install cPanel/WHM on a 64-bit CentOS VPS. You should only install cPanel on a fresh installation of CentOS.
cd /home
wget -N http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest
screen -R cp sh latest
When it finishes, go to http://[your ABH IP]/whm to login and configure cPanel/WHM.
Note: on some CentOS installs, you may have to install some packages first (yum install -y perl screen wget).
